A recent study: children's attention failure patients more likely to die





Danish revealed a recent study that children with attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity more likely to die at an early age compared to others

A team of researchers led by Dr. Soren from Aarhus University analyzed the medical history of all the children, who were born in Denmark between 1981 and 2011. The team found about 32 thousand of them were attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity, and found that 107 of the injured died before reaching the age of 33 years. This was almost twice the rate of premature death among those not infected, after taking into account factors such as age, history of mental illness and work

The researchers said that "Our results emphasize the importance of diagnosing the disease early, especially among girls and women, and the need to address any existing pathological disorders," according to the US newspaper "New York Times"

Said Stephen Varun, professor of psychiatry at Upstate Medical University in New York, who was not involved in the research, "It should be on these results that do not raise fear parents whose children suffer from attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity"

Previous studies have shown that people with attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity often have difficulties in their lives and school process, but this is the first Danish study shows that the risk of death at an early age from unnatural causes
